Conception and realisation of a restaurant. The street-front facade was restored and painted bordeaux red. The name of the restaurant was cut out of copper and fixed over the window. The windows were separated into two parts by a central painted column, into which was implanted a small window for the days menu. To the right of the entrance a closed-off display window was created which was regularly changed according to the season or special occasions. Two bay trees were placed on each side of the entrance as well as a red carpet which could be rolled out in front.

Inside, the floors were covered with Persian carpets. The walls were painted with a waxed rich-red stuccoed textured paint and decorated with original paintings and masks imported from India. We built a bar/work-area in rich mahogany wood. The windows were decorated with White-silk, gold-embroidered saris, converted into curtains. In the first area of the restaurant, we created silk-cushioned seating with low wood Indian tables and the ceiling was made of tented saffron silk. The last room of the restaurant had a large tree with fairy lights, reflecting off the stretched black vinyl ceiling, giving the effect of a starry night.
